Jean Reno Biography

The Da Vinci Code book cover

Jean Reno is playing a French policeman, Bezu Fache, alongside Tom Hanks who is the main star in this film. It's an adaptation of the world famous novel by Dan Brown, 'The da Vinci code'. It is a murder/mystery that is mostly set in Paris, France, and the film's director, American, Ron Howard (ex Happy days star), was even been given permission to use Le Louvre for the filming it.

I was going to go and see this film at the cinema, but after listening to the talking book of it, decided not to, as there wasn't really much of Jean in it.

It starts off with Langdon getting a phonecall: The Curator of Le Louvre hhs been found murdered, around him is a code which nobody can decipher. Langdon's name has been mentioned alongside the body, of course, typical Hollywood Frenchman, he automatically thinks that Langdon is the killer.
In comes Sophie, she helps Langdon escape from Le Louvre, oh, and wonders up on wonders, she can decipher the code, and not only that, she is the Curator's grandaughter!
So, loads of so called murder and mystery in tow, from france over to England to the temple chirch in London, and then to Scotland's Rosalyn chapel.

This story is just so predictable and coincidental that a child of 13 could write a better story. The only good parts about the story are the ones that has been plagarised by Brown from Michael Baigent's/Henry Lincoln's book 'The holy blood and the holy grail.
I just laugh at those who have read the book/seen the film and think they're so intelligent to understand it, but it's absolute simp;istic rubbish in my opinion!

Note: 'The holy blood and the holy grail' by Henry Lincoln and Michael Baigent is my favourite book of all time, and which I read over 20 years ago now, in fact I've read it twice because it's so good!

You can get the myths about Christianity and all that was written about in 'The holy blood and the holy grail' here on the link below, or better still, buy the book, it's great! And it's for intelligent readers instead of Dan Brwon's load of old twaddle.
