Jean Reno plays Ramon, a South American millionaire; who is interested in the young girl of this film's mother:
Margaret is a 17 year old high school student in New York city; who one day witnesses a traffic accident where a Bus crashes
and a woman was killed, she feels certain that she inadvertently played a role in the accident.
She tries to put things right but is met with obstacles every step of the way. She is torn apart with frustration and
she begins emotionally brutalizing her family, her friends, her teachers, and most of all, herself.
Margaret has been been confronted quite unexpectedly with a basic truth: that her youthful ideals are not on par with
the realities and compromises of the adult world.
