Les visiteurs, American style:
This is a remake of the original 'Les visiteurs' with Jean Reno and Christian Clavier, as in the original film, but for
the American market.
Although Jean has a much better hairstyle in this, it isn't a patch on the original French version 'Les visiteurs'. Jean
is Count Thibault of Malfete, with Christian Clavier as his manservant André le Pâté, so even the names ahve been changed
from the original film. The two of them end up surfacing in a Museum in New York? Funny really, considering they started off
in a castle in England.
There are some funny bits in it, and it's worth watching just for the Jean Reno content of course, but give me 'Les visiteurs'
over this anyday!!
