Nikita is a young drug addict girl who gets deeply into trouble with the law after a bloody hold up in a Chemist/Pharmacists.
She shoots a Policemand straight in the neck in her drug induced state.
She has been condemned to death by lethal injection: But instead of killing her and then interring her, as they had said
they were going to do to her own mother. They could have also put her into a mental institution for the rest of her life,
but instead, they offer her the opportunity to work as a secret agent for France instead. So she will now kill legally to
survive.
Nikita is she's trained for two years and does everything that is ordered of her for a while, her first job being handed
a gun whilst inside a restaurant and ordered to kill someone there. But after a while, still living undercover with a man,
she falls in love and needs ro find a way out of the system.
It's not a bad film, but our Jean only gets around ten minutes max in this film. He's the bad guy, Victor, but he actually
works for the government as a 'cleaner', he gets rid of the dead bodies by dumping them into an acid baths.
This is actually the film that gave, Luc Besson, the idea for the part of 'Leon' in The professional.
