An Indian, Wanu, has come to Paris to sensationalise the dangers of the threat of the ever shrinking Amazon rainforest. Then
one evening, Wanu, the Indian, finds himself in the elevator of a deluxe hotel, in company of his interpreter, Campana (Jean
Reno), and that of a young bright spark, François Perrin.
Wanu, believes him to be the person who will save his beloved forest. Perrin, isn't moved by the old man's beliefs, and
so laughingly refuses the mission. But when some gangsters come looking for him to settle some old scores, he Soon flies away
to the safety of the Amazon forest.
He's a very cowardly man, but as always, he ends up with the pretty girl in the Amazon, Campana has to do all of the dirty
work and gets hurt though it, but François still ends up as being hailed a hero in the end.
